Since you would never use this machine continuously, but rather on the timer delay, the fluid will last exponentially longer. Example, If you programed the timer to do a 5 second burst of fog, in every 30 second duration, the fluid on a full tank would last approximately 6hrs. May be sensitive to some smoke detectors that measure particle air density.
